DANIELLE L.
Trying to be a Cyclist / Triathlete in Training / Geek with Gear
Danielle is relatively new to the world of two wheels. She bought her first bike in the summer of 2014 with hopes of crossing a triathlon off her bucket list. It didn’t take long for a monster to be born. Her love of shoes and handbags was shortly replaced by a love of bikes, kits, gears and anything related to cycling. A few bikes later she’s now a lover of road and dirt. She’s been pretty aggressive in her first few years completing many triathlons including two 70.3 half Ironman’s, as well as fun gravel grinders including the Grinduro x 2 (proud to say she hasn't missed a year yet), Belgian Wafer x 2 (not the whole shebang…. she’s not totally crazy!) and a bunch of smaller locally thrown ones. She’s not scared to try anything and always boasts “I’ll try anything at once!”
Her kit closet and gear collection are second to none and there are few in the area that probably could compare. She’s looking forward to sharing her opinion with all of you!!!!!

Andrea M.
Cyclist / Triathlete / Cat Lady
Andrea was born and raised in Iowa. She’s been in Orange County since July of 2014 and doesn’t have plans on returning to anywhere that has winter anytime soon.
She bought her first proper road bike in 2008 – a Specialized Allez Elite. It cost $1,500 and she thought how crazy she was for spending that much on a bike. Andrea swam in high school and after running a few marathons decided to complete a triathlon. She did her first sprint tri in 2008, working up to her first Ironman in 2013. The move to California turned her love of cycling to a new level. Next came a mountain bike – Felt Edict and then an entry level cx bike.
Trading in her original CX bike after 6 months she bought a Felt F1x that triples as a cx bike, road bike, and tri bike. Yup, that’s right, she used my Felt Fx1 to complete a sub-12 hour Ironman Vineman in 2016. Just a change out of wheels, pedals, and add aerobars. She’s found the geometry of a CX bike is more comfortable for than a road or tri bike.
When not biking, swimming, or running, she works as a technical sales representative selling specialty chemicals, shopping on amazon, reading, binge watching shows on Netflix, and hanging out with her cat Belle.
Kate M.
Ex trackie/Aspiring gravel goddess/Kiwi in 'Murica
Kate has been riding bikes of all forms for over 20 years. Starting as a 12 year old, Kate spent the early part of her cycling career racing on the road and track. She has won New Zealand national medals and titles on the track and was part of several New Zealand squads and teams. She is built to go around in circles at speed! As her legal career took over, she has in recent years taken a much more relaxed approach to cycling which includes more coffee rides, less intervals and more dirt adventures!
With recent Ritchey Swiss Cross and Liv Pique purchases she is determined to reach gravel goddess status in the near future.
