First…. let me say how excited I was to get these bibs. When I initially saw the sneak peeks on Instagram I was obsessively stalking the site until they were available to purchase. Purchasing internationally (Australia in this case) always runs a risk when returns are on you, so I was keeping fingers crossed my sizing was right (based on charts) and that the quality was there!

These bibs are some of the best I’ve ever worn. There is no better way to test a set of bibs than to do a massive climb in them and Mount Lemmon served as the perfect playground. The material was thick enough, without being too thick, and I feel confident I could wear them in a wide spectrum of temperature variations. The chamois was lovely and is one that I consider to be a 6+ hour chamois. The grippers were perfect and don’t create that sausage effect that some bibs tend to on some of us. The straps are fantastic and manage to sit in the right spot while riding. I tend to usually wear a medium, however, have been wearing smalls more frequently in brands that come from Australia, so pay attention to the size charts. I am pretty sure a medium would have had quite a bit of movement on me. Please note: I do tend to prefer my bibs to be on the tighter side.

The jersey was amazing, however, I don’t feel that it is a summer jersey. When I ordered it, I expected it to be more of a smooth jersey fabric, however, it is more of a thicker mesh fabric. All things considered, I expected it to feel more breathable, and I even though it was chilly on some parts of the ride I felt quite hot. The pockets are more than sufficient and the center pocket even has an internal fold over flap which keeps valuables tucked in quite nicely. I will definitely be wearing this jersey all winter long, but will probably hang it up for summer months when it tends to be very hot.

In summary, I LOVE this kit. Especially the bibs. I will absolutely buy more the Pedla gear in the future, and look forward to see what their future designs hold. Finally….womens bibs that have made my male friends jealous!!!!
